Chris Foy,! And not the cyclist I might add for those of you who tweeted the wrong guy lasts time.

Cast your mind back a couple of months to when we lost to Stoke in probably one of the worst displays by the match officials I have seen this season. Where do I start? Offside goal that was 2 yards on, didn’t award a penalty for a foul on Kaboul and the worst of the lot was shawcross with his great handball save on the line that any keeper would have been proud of.

So Friday night we go to Watford for our FA Cup  4th round clash and our old pal Chris Foy will be in charge of a Spurs game once again, let’s hope he can put in a half decent refereeing display this time.

  1. Oh well….resigned to it now that’ll be 6 pts and out of the Cup due to piss poor refs !

    • 8 points lost if you include the 2 from the Wolves draw, which if all decisions were correct we’d have won 2-0

  2. To the yidos at the game.give him hell.

  3. one of the worst this season?????/// where do you watch your football? i am with ron liddle in the times, the worst he had ever seen. or james lawton in the independent who used the words incompetent and appalling
there were 12 wrong decisons, every one against spurs, odds aganist that? 2 to the power of 12. ie over 4,000 to 1 chance. now of course some of them were just laughable, like the corner which bale letrun out and he gave a goal kick. but 7 were match changing. and 2 to the power of 7 leaves me not believing in coincidences (128 to 1). woodgate shd have been sent of, advantage played, as the commentator sai, i dont see any advantage. crouch handball for their first. two handballs in the area and a foul on kaboul worsethat the one that got the welsh rugby captain sent off in the world cup, so that is three penalties missed. a goal that was 6 feet on side disallowed for off side and then kaboul sent off for a nothing simply as spiteful pay back for the spectacle mimic, which was wondeful in that this clown did not see it. any other job he wd be suspended or fired, but the FA, no they give him big assignments right away. they are making a mockery of all of us who pay money.to watch footballl live and on tv at ever increasing prices. they seem not to realise that the hand that feeds them shd be looked after

    • Or one way to look at it is that there have been well over 4,000 games of football played, so…. you’re right, it’s not a coincidence it’s a mathmatical inevitability that this will happen. Let’s say that we have averaged 40 games a season for the last 120 years, that’s just over 4,000 games… therefor, if it hasn’t happened already, by your logic, this was actually overdue.

As I said, this was using your logic and Maths, not sure how accurate it was, I trust your accuracy so didn’t check myself.

  4. Perhaps he might think he owes us one. i know, Naive !!

  5. Oh! NO – NOT him again
That FOY – Hope he do NOT repeat the same decisions like the STOKE game
    God help us this time!

  6. It could be worse (i.e. Howard Webb – the most overrated ref in living memory). How about we ask for the cyclist instead?

  7. Thats 11 lost points due to bad refereeing now, we need an inquiry into match fixing.

  8. Mad About The Foy. Well we go from national disgrace Webb to the bumbling idiot Foy. Some shocking decisions and they never have to face the cameras or the press.

  9. While it was difficult to believe that howard webb could not see balotelli’s stamp for the vile and cowardly act of an an overgrown child that it was i have to say it pales in comparison with the chris foy show. If chris foy is a premier class ref then paul scholes is a fit as a fiddle premier player in his prime. His performance in the stoke game was like an advert for specsavers and he should never have reffed a premier match again. NOT GOOD ENOUGH YOU BLIND IDIOT!

  10. Oh dear,We could well be in for a surprise result.A spurs man sent off.Watford get 2 penalties.and Foy who knows.I really cannot think of something that, will not be libellous. But What are the odds on a surprise watford win.I must look up odds,it may well be worth a flutter, and i say that as a spurs fan. With some of the present referring that all teams have to put up with these days.Is it no surprise that fans are worried about bungs being made. Many of the decisions made are ludicrous as to beggar believe.
