No two ways about it I feel sick to the stomach and it probably won’t go away for some time.

After coming back from 2 goals down in a match that showed me we can match City to lose like that is gutting. It was a silly tackle by King but we can never hold it against him. BAE put us under pressure by keeping the ball in play and booting it down the pitch.

Balotelli should have seen red for stamping on Parkers head but it’s one of them things, the ref saw it but bottled it.  I am proud of the lads today for the effort and character shown but for today I feel sick inside.

  1. Ok the story is…

    1. 2nd half – we showed what we can do. Both our goals were class, City’s 2nd was hardly wonderful.

    2. Balotelli def should have went. The FA have to do something. It would have been a STRAIGHT RED never mind him already being on a yellow!! He deserves nothing less than a 10 match game. He could have seriously injured Parker. At least Spurs don’t have to CHEAT to win.

    3. Referees – Where do I start…We lost at Stoke 2-1. Had ALL those eferring decisions went for us, then he would have won that game maybe 4-2. The decisions were THAT BAD i.e. Adebayor off side and care to remember. We only drew against Chelsea – another Adebayor goal offside incorrectly. Lost 2 points due to ref.

That’s 5 points lost already. Then we have the game against Wolves last weekend. Again, Adebayor was ruled to be offside when he was clearly on. He scored and again 2 lost points. So there you have it…7 points lost up until today and that is JUST for incorrect offside decisions against Ade…You would have to say there is a conspiracy against THFC. I don’t remember Utd or City having that many. Yeah maybe the odd one or two, but this is now the FOURTH game where a stupid ref ha cost us. Oh so adding today’s up, we would have had a draw, but got nothing :( thank makes 8 yes EIGHT points when he SHOULD have one this season because of ref’s mistakes. This should al be looked at come the end of the season and sorted out. It cannot continued.

It’s up to us now to show in the next games what we can do. I think it will make the players all the more determined. And ppl are giving Ledly awful abuse on Twitter, they need to lay off and remember he is mr tottenham and mr reliable. He never lets us down, he is the best defender we have by a clear mile.

    • I completely agree with everthing! However lets not just touch on Ade disallowed goals.
1.How about Crouch’s goal at Stoke which was handball.

      2. The two blatant penalties at Stoke not given.

      3. Shawcross handball on the line which should have seen red.

4.Wolves goal which came from a corner that should never have been given.

I cannot recall a season where these refs have been so poor

      • Correct, u are spot on mate…there were a lot more than I remembered!! It seems like some conspiracy to keep THFC out of the top places. Well they can try all they like, it’ll not work…Let’s up the lads come out in the next league game V Wigan and give them a real hiding…it’s coming, all that frustration will backfire on someone – it has to.

If refs cannot be relied upon to make decisions, then the tv cameras will HAVE to be introduced to make up for the inadequate refs.

      • And Chelsea’s last 4 goals against us were all invalid.

  2. typical Howard Webb always screws us .never mind gooners will lose lol

  3. If Adebayor can stay fit/interested we should be able to finish top 4. Playing the victim card is very weak. We just don’t have another striker who can make his presence known.

  4. Excellent once we got the first goal and the better team 2nd half but it just looked like a game where there was going to be a decider. The current squad has been arrived at through Commolli’s labour, Harry getting a few extra miles out if the likes of Brad & Gallas, plus the occasional result of Levy’s last day poker deals.Trouble is Levy’s frugality which generally serves us so (frustratingly) well will not secure the strikers we need and have needed since Berbs and Keane. Its the one chink in his armour and it will ultimately lose us Modric and Bale.

  5. didnt anyone see king tackle ballotteli or just me yeah ballotteli should of see red and lescott but 20 sec to go and king makes that tackle in the box we got back to 2-2 then king got stupid hay and why why why did he do it

  6. I cant believe all the pundits and Redknapp himself just talk about Balotelli’s stamp. Lescott was just as bad and im amazed Kabouls’s jaw isnt shattered. It was fookin sick!

  7. Yeah Gutted for Ledders , he did let us down for sure, needless tackle . Bale’s pass was a tad too fast for JD , agreed, Ballotelli should have walked, DirtyBoy , Chris Foy and Howard Webb have been the twelveth men in our two losses in 5 months . Thats all the bad luck out of the way hopefully, Daniel to Splash the cash on a proven finisher before 31st, and even though we are 8 points and as of now 5 points adrift of number none and number poo we can still do it !. Why not ? 48 points to go , Its a funny old game eh? .Lots can change between now and May . Chin up Lads ! and a as Parkin the Farmer said “Run at it Shouting ” COYS.

  8. hey lets be proud of the boys today they gave everything. the 3 goals today were sloppy goals but we were seconds away from a very creditable draw and could of won it, in the 2nd half we were the better side lets hope ballocheater gets a retrospective ban, lets take the positives from today and move on.

  9. When someone fouls a Man City player, Mancini waves his ‘red card’. Rednapp admitted it was a penalty. Why can’t the Man City management admit what Balotelli did? Would they have missed it had a Spurs player had done it?

  10. We live in the 21st century and still FIFA denies to change the rules and permit crucial moments in a game to be decided with the use of modern technology like it is the case in many other sports.
By not changing the rules FIFA gives the power to referees to have the final decision on the outcome of a game also for betting purposes.
But Spurs fans next to referees decisions should also worry about their president who doesn’t share the ambitions of the supporters and denies to buy a couple of players who are desperately needed in the squad and who would improve the team and boost its chances (as we have witnessed today) for the title.
